Our Services

Your child will receive an individual evaluation (if needed) which will guide the therapist in developing a treatment plan of long and short term goals. These goals are used to plan treatment sessions and measure progress. Frequency and duration of visits is discussed at the time of evaluation and individualized to meet the child’s and family’s needs.

Our therapists will provide services in your home or via teletherapy (virtual visits). The benefit of in-home services is that is allows the therapist to work with your child in their natural and most comfortable environment. Therapists can show parents how to address their goals using familiar toys and resources.

Speech Therapy

We treat a range of diagnoses/conditions including, but not limited to:

Language Disorders
Articulation & Phonology Disorders
Motor Speech Disorders (ex. Apraxia)
Motor & Sensory Feeding Disorders (ex. picky eaters, dysphagia)
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Augmentative & Alternative Communication
Communication disorders related to genetic or other medical conditions such as cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, etc

Co-Treatment

Our therapists value a team approach that includes the parents and caregivers, other disciplines/therapists, doctors, and school teachers and staff as applicable. A large focus of therapy is family input and involvement to promote generalization to home, school, and the community. If your child is receiving therapies in multiple areas, it may be beneficial for the therapists to see the child together to coordinate treatment strategies and maximize progress.

Developmental Screenings

Parent Support, Consulting, & Advocacy

We want to support you, as parents, to be an advocate for your child's individual needs. Our therapists have extensive experience with writing and developing Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs). We can consult with you and your school, including reviewing paperwork prior to or after meetings and attending an IEP or other school meeting. Our therapists are also happy to help you prepare for meetings with doctors or other specialists.
